THE CHALLENGE
Our first task was navigating between two very different audiences. On one side were banks, airlines and telecom brands looking for engagement, differentiation and new revenue streams. On the other were jaded consumers wanting effortless discovery, personalisation and social-first experiences. We needed a brand that felt premium, emotionally resonant and culturally relevant enough to engage both audiences.

The ambition was to create something that felt less like a booking platform and more like a passport to possibility - seamlessly connecting inspiration, discovery and booking in a way that felt effortless, intelligent and endlessly inviting.

Travel discovery itself had become fragmented. Consumers were endlessly scrolling, saving and comparing without ever booking. Unravel’s platform solved that friction, but the brand needed to make AI feel intuitive rather than technical and intelligent without sounding overly corporate. The identity also needed to work flexibly across white-label partner ecosystems while still building distinct brand recognition for Unravel itself.
THE SOLUTION
The goal was to capture our customer in a moment of wanderlust and transport them effortlessly towards an experience they were excited to embark on. We positioned Unravel as your compass to the extraordinary — a brand built around discovery, serendipity and effortless travel inspiration. Rather than focusing on the technology, we created an identity designed to make the experience feel invisible, intuitive and emotionally led.

The visual system was inspired by hidden gems and navigation, combining a compass-inspired logomark, map-based graphic language, and a vibrant gradient palette inspired by sunsets and horizons. Alongside the identity, we developed a tone of voice that felt like recommendations from a well-travelled friend rather than a sales platform.
THE RESULT
The final result transformed Unravel from a travel tech startup into a distinctive, scalable brand capable of speaking credibly to both enterprise partners and modern travellers. A brand designed to make discovery feel less like searching and more like being understood.
