My Date Night is a new kind of dating app, one for long term lovers. Shallow, famous, religious, naturist, looking for no-strings hookups or longing for the long term, there’s an app for all of you. My Date Night saw a gap in the market to offer a fun and flirty dating service for couples. But how do you form a brand connection with the newlywed, nearly dead and everything in between?
THE PERFECT MATCH
We got to the heart of this challenge by focusing on the key proposition “it’s better together” and celebrated the beauty of partnerships. The new identity emphasises the joy of being in a relationship, connection through interests and sharing a night out. The iconic duo’s like ‘movies + popcorn’, ‘gin + tonic’ and “wine + dine” inspired us to create visuals that reinvigorate memorable classics.
DESIGNED TO BE TOGETHER
At its core, our logo uses the iconic symbol for love, the heart, partnered with the letters M and Y representing me and you, heart to heart. Our colour palette is gender-neutral like the brand, supporting and celebrating every type of partnership.
