CPA (Certified Public Accountants) is a highly regarded and well-established qualification. We were set the brief of rebranding CPA Ireland to build awareness of the brand, particularly for new students looking to enter the accounting industry.
Our brief was to create a future-facing brand that would put CPA to the forefront of its sector, appealing to students and existing members to ensure the CPA brand stays as up to date as its teaching programmes.
Our core concept revolved around the slogan “Go Anywhere with CPA”, that we created. CPA Ireland allows its members to study across the world as well as in a huge number of different industries. We felt this was a huge selling point that could be further promoted to its full potential.
We created a visual style using pathways made up of segments to represent the variety of journeys you can go on with a CPA qualification. This reflected the aspirational nature of the students as well as the flexibility of the qualification. Whether it is a different country, industry or job role, CPA will help you get there.

The pathway concept is encapsulated in the logomark which shows a united, connected brand. We reduced the name from The Institute of Certified Public Accountants Ireland to CPA Ireland in order to create a more flexible mark as well as to reflect how its staff and members referred to the brand.
Our core colour palette of navy and greens ensures the brand relates to its Irish links whilst feeling fresh and modern. We looked in detail at developing vibrant colours for screen as the brand wanted its site to become the hub of the service.
