THE BRIEF


Caboodle came to us with a proposition that would change our lives, or our 'key life moments' at least. A storage solution for need-states that we all share: moving house, downsizing, going traveling, packing away baby clothes, unpacking baby clothes, hiding hideous gifts or keeping our sentimentals safe. Caboodle had a brilliant proposition, to collect, protect and then return your belongings, but without a name or a brand, they needed us to help them with the delivery.

Caboodle had a brilliant proposition, to collect, protect and then return your belongings, but without a name or a brand, they needed us to help them with the delivery.
THE CHALLENGE

Working with them right from the initial decks (that would help them nail their investment) to the website, we were there every step of the way. The new name 'Caboodle' encompasses the service, and gives them their playful tone of voice. The identity, built from a circle, represents their end-to-end service and second-to-none security and became the basis for a whole brand world.

From here we designed a fully functioning bespoke typeface and icons. The curved letters make the brand feel friendly and accessible, to appeal to Caboodle's wide audience and the icons help to convey the versatility of their offering, without scaring off the less tech-savvy users.


We created two videos for the launch, using our new brand language - and plenty of 'oo's to explain the service and key benefits.

For the website, simplicity and convenience is key, and we built this into the copywriting, design and user journey to ensure that Caboodle's customers felt looked after every step of the way.

Establishing a brand and brand world for Caboodle gave them a strong narrative and positioned them as already established and committed to their proposition. Off the back of the branding, Caboodle received 10m investment and have since launched their website and celebrated their first customers. We can't wait to see what's next in store for Caboodle...
